The work is the result of a collaboration between Stylnove Ceramiche Srl and A.I.Pro.Sa.B. APS

(Associazione Italiana Progeria Sammy Basso). The soft earthenware hands are a symbol of strength and resilience in the field of research for a cure for Progeria, a rare genetic disease that causes premature ageing. The moulds were made from casts of Sammy's hands during the “Sammy Plaster” event in 2023.
