Sam Baron - Wall lamp
Specifics:
“Assortiment” is a contemporary take on the Baroque style that had developed in ceramics in northern Italy in the 1950s. Assembled like inseparable links of a chain, these fragile-looking cookie (opaque white ceramic) frames acquire a new sculptural and visual presence through the shadows they create on the wall from which they hang. The white, evanescent richness of a culture is remastered by the design of the assemblage and its illumination.
