After visiting Stylnove, the designer is inspired by the extrusion machine. She therefore chooses to use it in the project, without working with a mould but exploiting the potential of a continuous silhouette that comes out of the machine and can later be processed to add functionality. The result is a collection of cylindrical extrusions that can be wall-mounted either vertically or horizontally and function as sculptural elements of indirect outdoor LED lighting. ‘The texture of the material is something very tactile and the different glazes bring out the properties of the material hidden inside. A warm glow bounces off the wall from behind the minimal monolithic volumes'.
